How To Lose Weight After Preeclampsia

PregnantWhile I was pregnant I had preeclampsia and ended up gaining about 90 lbs. Before my pregnancy I was about 115 lbs. I lost 30 lbs the first week because it was from swelling. It has been 4 months since I gave birth and have lost about 10 more lbs. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to lose the rest of the weight. I try to exercise as much as possible but it is difficult for me to squeeze in time because I work full time and my daughters father and I work different shifts so we aren’t home together except on weekends. Help please.

I had preeclampsia with my 2nd. It is very hard to lose it. It takes a long long time! I am finally starting to lose weight again now but I’ve also had 2 more kids. I just started the b-complex thing I read in here. I’ll let you know how it goes.

I think you are being way to hard on yourself.  You have lost 40 pounds so far. That is so great. Just take time and let your self heal. My goodness you just had a baby. The most important thing is that you are ok and healthy.

It will come off if you just keep doing what you are doing. When your hormones get back on track that will help too. It didn’t take 4 months to put it on and it won’t take 4 months to take it off. Don’t worry so much. Good luck and give yourself a pat on the back for making it this far.
