You know, I don’t like the word diet….it just sounds difficult, doesn’t it? But eating healthy sounds so much better. That is how I look at it. I eat healthy, I don’t diet. After having two children I was not comfortable with my body anymore and I decided it was time to do something. I have learned a lot about healthy eating…not just from my own experience but I am also a Personal Fitness Trainer & Nutritional Specialist in training. I don’t know all I need to know yet but hopefully I can help you. We can talk more about what physical activities you like to do and what kind of healthy foods you like to eat.

I’m sure you don’t want to go on another diet, but what about a lifestyle change. I started a nutritional cleansing program back in August and I feel better now at 36 then I did 10 years ago. I didn’t really have a lot of weight to lose, but I wanted to lose a few and feel healthier. I started this cleanse and noticed results right away – I lost 4 inches first and then I dropped 10 pounds. My husband is doing this with me and he lost 26 pounds – the best thing about it – the weight and inches have stayed off! With most “diets” when your achieved your goal and go back to your old ways the weight comes back plus some. Good luck in your journey!

Here is a free and great website that I use, I am down 17 pounds… www.sparkpeople.com. It will never just melt away you have to really work hard at it….it has taken me 4 months now just to get 17lbs off, but it has been well worth it….good luck with your journey to a new you.

I always tell people to start out making small changes. If you drink sodas, drink water. Go for a walk. It doesn’t have to be fast or long, just take a walk. Maybe during commercials when you watch TV, get up and do some stretches.

Just make small changes at first. Don’t overwhelm yourself. You’ll find yourself making changes on your own after a while. Focus on eating healthy and eat more veggies. You can never get enough! Good luck!
